Meet
Petrie
Petrie is a very curious bird who loves to explore her surroundings, especially piled up flannel shirts. Her favorite foods are apples, scrambled eggs, and her nightly peas and corn mix. When given her nightly peas and corn, she likes to be presented with the bowl first so she can pick the best piece to munch on as you put the bowl down. She has very cute yawns as she puffs up and stands on one leg for her naps. She is clumsy though, and will often lean back while sleeping and fall off her stick, which is why her perch is at a low level, but she quickly runs back up to fall asleep again! Petrie has many sounds special to her including her low squeaky chuckle that she does when she is content as well as occasionally squeaking the intonation of her name when she is happy(pe-trie). A shoulder is one of her favorite spots to be and she will often inspect your ear lobe to feel how soft it is! Petrie is a sassy, silly character who is looking for a companion that will help her build her comfortability with being interacted with and handled.
