The owner said: Fred is an amazing Yellow-Naped Amazon looking for someone with a lot of time and love to give him. A perfect day for him would consist of sitting on his person's shoulder all day and hanging out together. He's great at talking for a treat and knows some clicker training as well. He doesn't fly except in very rare occasions, like out of fear. He prefers to stay out on top of his cage all day long, but he may venture down to come see what you're doing. He likes to be on a schedule, but he may not mind his schedule changing so long as it's consistent. He has a small vocabulary of very cute phrases that impress everyone. He enjoys ripping up cardboard and chewing on rope and paper towel. He also likes foraging toys and spends a lot of his day looking for food. He's a middle aged bird, born in 1979, and he was named after the Cockatoo on the 70s show "Baretta." But despite his age, he's very agile and energetic. He's such a silly and lovable bird.
