Their current owner has the following to say about them: Bertie Wooster (green & yellow) and his handsome pal Gussie (blue and teal) are happy young budgies who love to sing all day and do one another's hair. They both came to us from a rescue situation and have not been finger trained, though this is possible with gentle patience if desired. They are very happy around people as long as their cage door stays closed. Bertie was in a large flock where he was the life of the party - unlike his literary namesake, he proposed to everyone! When he was later placed in a solitary cage he languished, and he's much happier now that he has a buddy again. Gussie had also been in a large flock, where he was bullied, so he was shy at first, but now they are inseparable and play all day in their large flight cage. They love singing along with the piano or classical radio, and they happily join in the conversation if adults or children are around. We estimate their age as 2-3 years.
